Position

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Service Dispatch Manager to lead our service dispatch operations. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and optimizing field service technicians while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflows, and strong team leadership.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and excels at balancing customer needs with operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage daily dispatch operations, including scheduling and routing service technicians
  • Supervise and support the dispatch team, providing coaching and performance feedback
  • Coordinate service calls to ensure timely response and efficient resource utilization
  • Act as a key point of contact between technicians, customers, and management
  • Monitor service metrics (response times, completion rates, customer satisfaction)
  • Handle escalations and resolve scheduling or service issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate service records and dispatch data
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and service teams to improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service agreements
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years proven experience in service dispatch, operations coordination, or field service management
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency with dispatch software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
  • Industry experience in HVAC, plumbing, is an asset
