About The Position
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the logistics and production department of the facility. This role ensures that vehicles, parts, or materials are moved efficiently through the process to meet production schedules, customer delivery requirements, and quality standards. The supervisor will lead a team of logistics and production personnel, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of logistics and production teams.
- Establish clear and effective SOPs for efficient and safe production and accessorization
- Ensure timely receipt, movement, storage, and shipment of vehicles and parts
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet operational targets.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company policies.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to build an effective workforce.
- Identify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing or logistics strategies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and production records using ERP or WMS systems.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Procurement) to resolve production or shipping issues.
- Report on productivity, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Manage shift schedules, labor allocation, and time tracking.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, production, or warehouse supervision—automotive industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient with inventory and logistics software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Requires use of required PPE:
Safety-toe boots/shoes, safety vest, gloves, hard hat, etc. - Ability to regularly stand, walk long distances, and talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grab, handle, feel, and reach.
- Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders or stairs.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- You must wear the required safety PPE, Safety vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working indoors and outdoors.
- Excessive heat or cold, extreme weather conditions, excessive humidity or dampness, or chilling.
- Slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
- Work around machinery with moving parts.
- Work around moving objects, vehicles, and moving machinery/heavy equipment.

Shift: 7 AM – 4 PM Monday-Friday
OT, Weekends, and Holidays as needed and 6 to 7 days consecutive.
