The role is highly strategic—not operational, delivery, or program management focused. Candidates should have strong experience in digital marketing and omni-channel strategy, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry supporting both HCP (physician) and patient campaigns.

Experience with multiple digital media channels (websites, email, CRM/SMS) and optimizing user journeys to drive customer engagement and conversion. Should be comfortable making recommendations, building stakeholder relationships, and influencing brand teams. Communication, stakeholder management, and ability to present ideas/strategies are highly valued. Prioritization skills are important—must be able to balance needs across HCP and patient campaigns and multiple brand initiatives. Agency experience is highly preferred due to the fast-paced, client-service nature (but strong pharma in-house experience is also considered).

Not concerned about title as long as work experience shows hands-on digital strategy leadership. 5–7 years of relevant experience required; educational background is less important than direct experience. Must be able to work onsite in Wilmington, DE at least 3 days per week (60% in-office policy), but can be flexible for the right candidate and open to 2 days if needed—however, full-time conversion would require 3 days in office.

Candidates must be strategic, not just operational or technical; must demonstrate digital expertise relevant to customer engagement strategy (not program management or purely operational backgrounds). Open to reviewing resumes from candidates who previously worked at digital/healthcare agencies like Digitas Health, Click Health, or Publicis.

Pharmaceutical (pharma) experience, particularly with HCP (healthcare provider) marketing is required; must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding. Digital marketing experience across channels such as websites, email, social media, and SMS; strong understanding of omni-channel customer engagement and customer journey. Experience working with media and familiarity with media strategy (not necessarily an expert, but able to collaborate with media teams and understand media’s role in omni-channel campaigns).

Agency experience or similar background (advertising/media agency experience is a plus); client-service mindset, able to act as a strategic partner, influence, and provide recommendations. Comfortable analyzing data and campaign results to identify actionable insights and optimization opportunities (does not need to prepare reports but should be able to review and interpret findings). Strong communication, solution-oriented, and able to work closely with multiple partners (acts as a liaison between brand and campaign partners).

Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree not necessary). Five to seven years of relevant experience in brand marketing, omni-channel strategy, integrated marketing, or related field.
