RN, Emergency Room - Full Time, Night Shift - Saint Francis, DE

Join Trinity Health Mid‑Atlantic as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This full‑time position requires a 12‑hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with full‑time hours (36 hrs/week). The role is based at Saint Francis Hospital, a Level III Trauma, 27‑bed unit serving Wilmington and Northern New Castle County. The department is the only geriatric‑certified emergency department in Delaware.

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assists emergent patients and documents accordingly on the Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identifies patient needs based on objective data and follows through with appropriate documentation.
• Implements appropriate nursing actions for each identified patient.
• Makes sound decisions based on knowledge of facts.
• Discusses with patients and/or significant others planned care and expected outcomes; documents the discussion.
• Uses a multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
• Previous ER and/or acute‑care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment.
