As an Evening Operations Manager at Wegmans, you will act as an extension of the Store Management team and key liaison between daytime and overnight operations. You will address any concerns that may arise during the evening hours and ensure all teams are working towards providing customers the freshest products and the incredible service that makes Wegmans unique. • Oversee and manage the entire store operation during evening hours
• Manage performance and develop employees; provide resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
• Work with all store team members to ensure both fresh foods, and grocery departments are replenished, fully stocked and well-merchandised to meet customers' needs

• 1 or more years of experience leading a team
• Computer skills

• A college degree
• Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products

Experience overseeing the daily operations of a large team and/or a multi-area department;
Experience as a Store Operations Team Leader or equivalent experience;
Managerial/supervisory experience living our values and achieving results in our 5 measures;
Bachelor's - Related Field;
Work Environment:
The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for long periods, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. May be asked to work at cash register station (see Cashier). The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely.

Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors and may involve exposure to cold temperatures (33° – 55°) near hot equipment (exceed 135°) and seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather. Basic tools and equipment used include computer and handheld telephone and may also include walkie reach/hi-lo, powered pallet jack, and scissors lift.;
