Merchant Row is expanding into Wilmington, Delaware, and we’re growing our team in partnership with T‑Mobile to support local businesses with modern communication and connectivity solutions.
As a Trainee Account Executive, you’ll begin your career representing T‑Mobile Business, working directly with business owners and decision‑makers to understand their needs and introduce solutions that help their teams stay connected, efficient, and future‑ready. This is a client‑facing, business‑to‑business role designed for individuals who want structured training, hands‑on experience, and a clear path into professional account management.
You’ll be supported by experienced leaders, practical training, and a collaborative environment that values integrity, development, and performance.
Base pay range$60,000 / yr – $70,000 / yr
What You’ll Be Doing- Represent the T‑Mobile brand in the local business market by acting as a professional point of contact for business clients and introducing them to telecom and connectivity solutions that support everyday operations and long‑term growth.
- Meet business clients face‑to‑face across Wilmington, building rapport with decision‑makers and learning how their teams currently communicate and operate.
- Develop consultative B2B sales skills through structured training and real‑world experience, learning how to ask the right questions, identify client needs, and position tailored solutions with confidence and clarity.
- Deliver professional sales presentations by clearly explaining T‑Mobile business products and services, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.
- Manage and develop client relationships by following up with clients, supporting existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to expand services where appropriate.
- Work closely with senior account executives and sales leaders, receiving regular coaching, feedback, and support as part of the Wilmington expansion.
- Stay organised and performance‑focused by tracking meetings, activity, and outcomes to support consistent progress and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging business owners in a professional setting.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and develop within a sales and account management environment.
- An interest in B2B sales, telecom, or business development.
- A proactive, goal‑driven mindset and strong work ethic.
- Coachability and ambition to progress within a growing team.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or entry‑level sales is helpful but not required.
- Structured training in B2B sales, account management, and telecom solutions.
- Hands‑on experience representing T‑Mobile Business.
- Weekly pay combined with uncapped commissions and performance bonuses, with most first‑year team members earning $60,000–$70,000. High performers regularly exceed six figures as they progress.
- Clear progression into Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, or leadership roles.
