Full Time Seasonal Security Officer – Wilmington, DE (DE Guard Card Required)

Position Details:
Seasonal security position starting November 19th.

Job Summary: Physical Security Officers (PSOs) will work in demanding, fast‑paced environments including medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. PSOs protect people, information, and property while delivering high‑end customer service and serving as the front line of our security services.

Job Duties /

Essential Functions:

• Deliver high‑end customer service
• Respond to emergencies
• Deterring and preventing crime
• Perform ingress/egress control procedures
• Investigate incidents
• Complete daily logs and incident reports
• Conduct regular walking or vehicle patrols
• Build and maintain a professional rapport with clients, guests and co‑workers
• De‑escalate conflicts
• Monitor CCTV cameras
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills /

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of face‑to‑face customer service experience
• Two years of security experience
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient time‑management skills
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent de‑escalation skills
• Proactive problem‑solving skills
• Ability to obtain the state‑required security officer license
• Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements

Physical Requirements /

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work under stress/pressure
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to wear a uniform
• Ability to use force, up to and including deadly force, when reasonably justified
