Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Lobby in Wilmington, DE
, you will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions and other industries. In this part‑time role you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security‑related incidents, remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed, and complete required documentation and reports.

• Provide customer service and perform security‑related procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving within the financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues.
• Assist employees, visitors, and customers with directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports.

• Experience with access control or badge systems preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants subject to drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
