Mover, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Servpro of New Hanover is now hiring Movers/Laborers for the Wilmington location.

• Packing contents, moving furniture, & cleaning structure & contents post water/fire/mold damage.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities (such as demo, packing, cleaning, etc.). Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Unload trash/equipment from work vehicles and plan and load for next day.

• Valid driver’s license REQUIRED.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check with clear criminal history subject to applicable law.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

• Competitive compensation.
• PTO @ 6 months.
• 401k.

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour based on experience.
