We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Java Lead Developer to lead the design and development of enterprise-level software applications.
This role involves working across large-scale environments, contributing to full-stack development, and implementing modern engineering practices.
The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep expertise in Java, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise software applications using Java and microservices.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with Kafka and No
SQL databases. - Utilize Git Hub and Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and ensure code quality and resiliency.
- Collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers in Agile frameworks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to their adoption within the organization.
- Participate in technical discussions, write articles, and represent the firm in external forums when required.
- Proven experience in full-stack development with Java and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Git Hub, Bitbucket, Kafka, and No
SQL databases. - Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native development practices.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of CI/CD, TDD, security, and resiliency in software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Recognized as a coach or mentor in one or more technical areas.
- Exposure to cross-functional projects and firm-wide initiatives.
