Senior Software Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer (Senior PHP Developer) for one of our clients. Our client is a fast-growing leader in the Data Privacy industry. Their patented hybrid artificial intelligence technology is currently used by fortune 500 companies to help protect customer/consumer data and also comply with privacy laws around the world. This is a full-time opportunity.

• Write clean, quality, and secure code based on product requirements
• Build interactive web applications, APIs and algorithms
• Ensure technical decisions support our goals of quality, scalability, reliability, security and high performance
• Work with a team of engineers and help meet tight deadlines
• Lead, mentor and guide other engineers

• A degree in computer engineering or a similar subject
• 7-10 years of experience in building web applications and enterprise software
• Prior experience in a SaaS software platform as a full stack or backend developer
• Experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), or LEMP stack
• Skilled in building highly scalable web applications (e.g., well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
• Experience with SQL stored procedures, database architecture, microservices, message queues (such as Rabbit
  
  MQ)
• Ability to build scalable, load-balanced web applications
• Excellent command line skills on LINUX
• Knowledge of container technology (docker, etc.) and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS), AWS, Elastic Search
• Experience using third-party testing tools and frameworks and working with version control systems such as GIT, Bitbucket, etc.

  SQL/Hadoop/Hive/HBASE, Cassandra, Mongo
  
  DB, etc. is a plus
• Past Experience with a security tech or privacy-tech company is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or AI Algorithms is a plus

• Hands-on experience with encryption algorithms, and vulnerability assessment tools is a plus
