Hourly Pay: $65.00 – $75.00/hour (Experience)

As an Experienced Java Software Engineer, you serve as a member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Your work could include developing mobile features, enhancing big‑data trading systems, innovating payments for merchants, or supporting private and public cloud platform integration.

• Design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java, contributing to continuous, iterative improvements for product teams.
• Execute software solutions, including development and technical troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring design constraints are met by code.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data, leveraging insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
• Add to a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

• Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in Java coding.
• Experience debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).

• Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Exposure to REST‑based API design.
• Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, Terraform, Spring Boot, JMeter, Load Runner, Dynatrace.
