Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Wilmington, DE (Remote). You will lead development and modernization initiatives on AS400 platforms, ensuring seamless integration with RxClaim systems.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Lead development and modernization projects on AS400 platforms using Modern RPG and Synon.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting RxClaim systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices while optimizing legacy systems through reverse engineering.
- Manage end-to-end development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and deployment of AS400 applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in AS400 development with Modern RPG and Synon.
- Strong expertise in RxClaim systems and ability to lead complex development projects.
- Proven experience in modernizing legacy AS400 applications and mentoring development teams.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
