Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Softball Head Coach zabeth's High School in Wilmington, DE. The Coach will oversee the development and performance of the school’s softball team. Responsibilities include planning and conducting training sessions, creating and implementing game strategies, teaching technical and tactical aspects of softball, fostering sportsmanship and teamwork among players, managing physical conditioning, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and the community to support a positive athletic environment.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and experience in softball and baseball coaching
- Skills in athlete training and strength & conditioning to improve performance
- Effective communication abilities, including mentoring and providing constructive feedback to players and staff
- Ability to foster a team‑oriented and inclusive environment
- Prior coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field is desirable
- Valid coaching certifications and compliance with relevant state requirements and school policies
