Position: Truck Service Advisor I

Job Summary

The Truck Service Advisor (TSA) works with a team of nearly 3,000 technicians across 280 locations. As a TSA, you provide first‑rate service to customers, relying on extensive product knowledge, writing work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over‑the‑counter transactions to ensure customers return better than they came.

In this role, you can expect to:
  • Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
  • Use strong suggestive selling skills to generate revenue, influencing customers professionally with high integrity.
  • Write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions; properly create an ETA work order; secure purchase orders; prepare and communicate quotes.
  • Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
  • Prepare end‑of‑shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
  • Ensure cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and customer restrooms.
  • Maintain safety for customers and team members.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience; repair or parts shop experience preferred.
  • Professional presentation to customers, management, and coworkers.
  • Strong suggestive selling skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays in various conditions.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Typical Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
