Position Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director will be a strategic leader with a demonstrated ability to grow revenue, build strong teams, and drive market share expansion within a highly technical, solutions-driven environment.
LocationWilmington, MA (Onsite, Hybrid, or Fully Remote)
Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet annual bookings, revenue, and margin targets for consumables and systems.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand market share across target industries.
- Safeguard and expand the existing installed base; drive recurring consumables growth in Dairy, Food & Beverage, Industrial, and Water markets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse, high-performing sales organization; foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Navigate and negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring terms align with company objectives and risk profile; guide the team through closing high-value, technically complex deals.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with major accounts; ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership value.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies; leverage insights to refine sales strategy and influence organizational planning; network with industry experts, consultants, and key influencers.
- Evaluate market and technology trends to recommend target sectors; identify product, service, and capability gaps to support long-term business growth.
- 5 year’s experience as a Sales Director or similar senior commercial leadership role within the Americas region.
- Strong background in separation technologies—membranes, ion exchange, thermal systems—or commercial roles serving Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Pharma, and Industrial markets (including automotive, pulp & paper, mining, or lithium).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field or 10 years experience in Sales.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect day-to-day sales activities to broader company goals.

Must be able to travel 50% of the time.

Compensation: $175,000-$225,000.
