Step into an impactful educational support role at a welcoming intermediate school, working closely with 4th and 5th grade students in a classroom dedicated to autism support. As a contract paraprofessional, youll provide essential assistance, collaborating with educators and specialists to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What Youll Bring:

• Demonstrated experience supporting elementary or intermediate-aged students
• Previous background working in special education (SPED) classrooms, especially with autism spectrum populations
• Familiarity with safety care protocols and behavior management techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Implement behavior strategies and utilize safety care procedures as needed
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring students participation and engagement
• Maintain records and collaborate with school staff on student progress
• Foster a respectful, safe, and supportive learning atmosphere
