About This RoleWe are seeking a Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs in our Weapons Systems business segment. The successful candidate will work cross‑functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to develop, manage, and report on Engineering Development and Production schedules and will provide and develop scheduling best practices in Earned Value Management.
Responsibilities- Analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensure they accurately represent contractual scope, logical flow, and resources required to execute the program.
- Assist in the development of program baselines, including assigning resources within WBS, assigning earned value methods, and verifying the contract budget baseline.
- Coordinate with Financial Analysts and provide technical insight on Earned Value variance analysis to assist CAMs in baseline variance reporting.
- Resolve schedule issues efficiently through root cause analysis and teamwork.
- Monitor and improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures.
- Analyze operational health metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- 3–6 years’ experience in scheduling within an engineering development and/or manufacturing operation, or other similar experience.
- Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining, and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs.
- Familiarity with schedule management within Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Deltek Open Plan.
- Proven working knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or another related field is preferred.
- Experience with implementing, tracking, and reporting schedule performance / Earned Value.
- Ability to derive, interpret, and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to Senior Leadership (e.g., schedule variance, SPI, milestone burndown, plan vs. actual).
- Ability to develop and report on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA).
- Experience supporting the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and transitioning these into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively across the organization.
- Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN).
- Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

CompensationTextron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and benefits. The pay range for this position is $72,600 – $108,800 per year. The range should be used as a general guide only; compensation is based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
