Base Pay Range$72,600.00 / yr – $ / yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
About This RoleTextron Systems is seeking an experienced PWB/PWA/Flex Design Engineer to develop and improve product designs to support advanced emerging programs. The engineer will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, developing electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications.
Responsibilities- Develop new PWB/PWA/Flex designs and manage transition to military‑qualified hardware.
- Specify appropriate PWB/PWA/Flex construction based on requirements and environments.
- Apply IPC standards, understand supplier fabrication techniques, and design controlled‑impedance paths.
- 10+ years of experience in PWB/PWA/Flex layout.
- Experience with high‑density printed circuit board design.
- Competence in schematic modification and netlist integration.
- Knowledge of controlled‑impedance implementation, RF circuits, and guard‑track layout.
- Proficiency in Allegro PWB design and library creation/maintenance.
- Experience with footprint generation.
- Active security clearance preferred; eligibility for clearance required.
- AS degree in PWB design or equivalent.
