* Roles and Responsibilities:

*** Support Semiconductor activities in Korea and in other regions around the world when needed.
* Be in charge of application support of metrology tools, provide new recipe setup and finetune existing recipes for improved performance.
* Develop new applications and keep working on improving tool utilizations.
* Work with FSE to finish qualifications of new tool installation or to do troubleshooting when needed.
* Provide reports about activities and issues to the direct manager(s). Also report to local management team and/or HQ support team when issues are escalated and work together to resolve issues.
* Actively participate in application related works for JEP or special projects.
* The responsibilities will also include (1) Best-Known-Method development during preparation phase, (2) knowledge transfer during field implementation and (3) field Apps training during sustaining.
* Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
* Work closely and keep good relationship with colleagues for good teamwork. Actively communicate with apps team in HQ and in other regions around the world to share knowledge and experience.
* Work closely with customers to understand customer’s high value problem and to provide solutions. Deliver customers’ pain points, complaints or technology gap to local management team to handle issues proactively.
* Work closely with marketing and sales for business development.
* Domestic and International travel when needed.
** Qualifications
* ** B.S. and above degree in engineering, optics, physics or equivalent experiences is required.
* Open for the fresh graduates with prior experiences regarding optics, mechanical/vacuum, electrical systems, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment are preferred.
* The candidate must be self-motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good planning, troubleshooting, and organizational skills are essential to understand the expectation of ramp requirements. In addition, the candidate should expect long hours of working in clean room environment.
