Associate Engineer, Biomedical Engineering
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms to extract clinically relevant information from various bio-sensors signal to help chronic disease management.
- Analyze data from real-world patient use, clinical studies, internal R&D to contribute to chronic disease management solution development.
- Engage in basic biomedical engineering R&D to help shape the future of the Medical Products Group.
- Support product development process for developing a high-quality medical device.
- Communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders including medical professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of signal processing, data science, and statistics, and machine-learning
- Prior experience in engaging in biomedical engineering research.
- Basic understanding in medical physiology
- Efficient communication and presentation skills
- Understanding various sensing modalities in healthcare settings and sensor physics
- Experience in engaging with medical professionals
- Having been involved in clinical study and human subject experiments
- Fluency in Python and MATLAB
- Being able to work in a fast-paced work environment

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $69,600 to $95,700.
- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
