** Role Summary
** The Financial Analyst I supports the Central BU Operations Finance team through financial reporting, variance analysis, planning support, data management, and finance operations. This is an entry-level role ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional looking to build expertise in FP&A, financial systems, and operational finance within a global technology organization. The role partners with finance team members to support reporting, planning processes, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficient and scalable finance operations.

** Key Responsibilities
**** Financial Reporting & Analysis
*** Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
* Perform variance analysis and identify key financial trends and drivers.
* Compile, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple systems.
* Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities.
** Planning & Forecasting Support
*** Assist with forecasting, annual operating plans, and long-range planning processes.
* Support data collection, consolidation, validation, and reporting.
* Prepare templates, schedules, and planning reports.
* Ensure planning assumptions are accurately reflected in reporting systems.
** Systems & Data Management
*** Utilize finance systems including SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, and related tools.
* Maintain reporting databases, financial models, and planning templates.
* Support reporting enhancements, system testing, and process improvements.
* Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve reporting efficiency and analysis.
** Continuous Improvement
*** Document finance processes and reporting procedures.
* Support automation, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.  
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Analytics, or related field.
* Less than one year of relevant experience (internships/co-ops included).
* Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
* Ability to work with large datasets and communicate insights clearly.
* Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and attention to detail.  
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Internship or co-op experience in finance, accounting, analytics, consulting, or operations.
* Exposure to financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or variance analysis.
* Familiarity with SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar financial systems.
* Interest in automation, technology, and AI-enabled business processes.
