The Occupational Therapy Assistant’s overall responsibility is to manage the care of each resident and ensure quality outcomes.
Position Information
Location:
Wilmington, MA
Facility:
Care One at Wilmington
Pay Range: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour, based on years of licensed experience
Practice Setting:
Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long Term Care
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitation care within all generally accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
- Implement treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
- Provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
- Participate in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
- Participate in all center directed processes and services.
- Show effective management of treatment and non‑treatment related activities.
- Perform necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Maintain complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
- Participate in in‑service training programs as requested.
- May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
Position Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Preferred:
Experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
