We believe people should love what they do. In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities.

• Machine Operation:
  Set up and operate various types of machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintenance:
  Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Report any malfunctions or issues to supervisors.
• Safety:
  Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings and production quantities. Complete any paperwork or digital entries related to job tasks.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with other machinists, engineers, and production staff to ensure a smooth workflow and address issues. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed. Demonstrate willingness to learn different machines and machining methods. Ability to pass a background and drug test. Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety standards, including limited cell phone use during work hours (excluding lunch and breaks).

• Basic understanding of machining tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is beneficial
• Ability to switch priorities when needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a machinist training program or apprenticeship is preferred

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus but not always required for entry-level positions
• Hands-on experience through internships or vocational training programs
• Automobile mechanical experience is a plus

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 70 lbs
