Clerk, Shipping and Receiving - 2nd shift

. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and completing them daily.
- Compare identifying information and counts, and weights against all incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records.
- Schedule receiving appointments.
- Examine incoming receiving paperwork for required information (e.g., code dates, mfg dates, etc.).
- Print shipping picklists using Excel and verify inventory in the system first for complete FEFO accuracy.
- Route paperwork to department personnel.
- Double-check all inbound and outbound paperwork for accuracy before keying information into the system, including ensuring all picklist and trailer map sheets are turned in with every load.
- Print all BOLs for outbound shipments and apply seal number and signature with each load.
- Maintain all paperwork in a neat organized manner to be scanned into D365 once processing completes.
- Maintain both shipping and receiving compliance logs daily for accuracy.
- Cross‑train in all office areas to keep operations efficient and responsive to customer needs.
- Promote a safe work environment through training and implementation.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase department efficiency.
- Ensure all work activities meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with legal and food safety requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies, including GMPs.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness for an accident‑free workplace.
- Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety‑related issues to Management.
- Other duties as assigned by management, which may include but are not limited to receiving, shipping, and material handling functions.
- Computer: understand PC basics and be able to use Word and Excel.
- Integrity: adherence to moral and ethical principles; sound moral character; honesty.
- Analytical: ability to visualize, articulate, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse individuals within the plant and corporate environments.

- Assist with year‑end cycle counts.

- Adaptability: ability to understand, accept and embrace change.
- The physical requirements include motor/physical abilities to regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Vision required: close, distance, and focus adjustment.
- Employees must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment at Monogram Foods.
- Role requires extended hours based on production needs, including after regular business hours and on weekends.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi‑lingual a plus – English/Spanish.
