Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Specialist
.

Position Type: Full Time Contract, contract to hire
Duration: 12 months
Location: Wilmington, MA 01887

As a Quality Control Specialist you will:

• Identify and document quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Facilitate the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Lead the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
• Liaise with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify trends in discrepancies and collaborate with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes.
• Oversee testing department activities and the work of inspectors. Review, approve, and control work order flow tags.
• Develop inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures.
• Participate in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
• Possess intermediate professional knowledge of the job area.
• Communicate with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Minimum 4 years experience with CMM software Zeiss CALYPSO or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Keyence machines.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word.

Pay Range: $40 to $43 per hour
