Position: Salesperson/Store Driver  Store 8777

Entry‑level sales and store support roles available for full‑time or part‑time work. Responsibilities include customer service, inventory management, and occasional delivery. Facility requires fleet safety certification. The role also supports commercial deliveries for the Store Driver position.

Salesperson – Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its sales targets.
  • Perform DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Handle inventory processes (truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, back‑stock).
Salesperson – Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
  • Assist with general stock (truck stocking, back‑stock).
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Salesperson – Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation ability.
  • Proficiency with delivery board system.
  • Friendly, clear communication.
  • Skill in locating and stocking parts.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, inventory systems, and store equipment.
  • Ability to use POS and parts lookup systems.
  • Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service.
Salesperson – Essential

Job Skills
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
  • Use basic math accurately across all units of measure.
  • Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Salesperson – Prior Experience
  • 2‑3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Store Driver – Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
  • Collect credit accounts daily.

Physical Demands

The employee will predominantly be walking or standing, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to use hands and fingers for handling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Work Environment

Mostly indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to weather. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious positions, hazardous chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation

$15.95 USD per hour – $16.95 USD per hour.
