Floating Security Officer

We are seeking reliable and adaptable Floating Security Officers to join our team. In this role, you will provide security coverage across multiple client sites. This position is ideal for those who enjoy variety in their work environment, are quick to adapt to new settings, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same.

Location: Essex & Middlesex County

Pay range: $22-25 per hour

Schedule: Full time, 40+ weekly hours – must be available to work 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift.

• Provide security presence and maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors across assigned sites.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Monitor access control, patrol designated areas, and report safety or security concerns.
• Support site teams by quickly learning and adapting to varying post orders and client expectations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Securitas in a professional manner.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to travel to different client locations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous customer service experience.
