Accountant - Liberty Advantage

Job Summary

• Prepare and record journal entries ensuring accuracy of entries.
• Maintain financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Meet all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines.
• Assist with audits and other inquiries as needed.
• Team oriented.
• Organized and attention to detail required.

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills.
• Must possess accounting knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Must be detail oriented and keep information accurate and organized.
• Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is preferred but not required.
