Automotive Express Technician

CAPITAL is seeking a driven Automotive Express Technician to join our Service team. In this role, you’ll perform quick, high-quality maintenance services—like oil changes, tire rotations, and basic inspections to help keep our customers safely on the road. We’re looking for someone who is efficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements)

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues

• Mount, balance, and rotate tires; check tread depth and recommend replacements

• Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters based on manufacturer guidelines

• Test and replace batteries as needed

• Inspect and advise on brake services

• Maintain accurate service records

• Use PPE and follow safety protocols

• Other duties as assigned

• Experience as a technician, especially in express/quick service (preferred)

• Strong skills in routine maintenance and tire services

• ASE or similar certifications are a plus

• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills

• Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with techs and advisors

• Ability to identify basic issues during inspections

• Valid driver’s license

• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
