Overview
At Global Laser Enrichment (GLE), we’re scaling breakthrough nuclear technology and building the operational backbone to support it. We’re seeking a Logistics Specialist to establish and lead shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-growing, highly regulated environment. This role is Full-Time, On-Site, located in Wilmington, NC, and requires Q-Clearance (required or eligible).
This is a hands-on, systems-driven role for someone who is equally comfortable operating a forklift and optimizing ERP workflows. You’ll play a critical role in keeping materials moving, inventories accurate, and projects on schedule.

- Shipping & Receiving:
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. - Inspect and document incoming materials for accuracy, damage, security, and QA traceability.
- Manage staging, labeling, secure storage, and internal transfers.
- Resolve delivery delays and logistics-related supply chain issues.
- Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records in Net Suite or related ERP/WMS systems; develop and manage labeling, binning, and cycle count processes; track critical components, tooling, and consumables for engineering, operations, and QA; support procurement planning, lead-time forecasting, and schedule alignment. - Systems & Communication:
Serve as the logistics point of contact across departments; configure and maintain logistics tools, dashboards, and workflows; streamline procurement-to-receipt processes through cross-functional collaboration. - Continuous Improvement:
Establish and maintain logistics SOPs; identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities; ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1, ITAR, and site safety requirements; perform additional duties as needed to support operations.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (Net Suite strongly preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QA traceability, documentation control, and safe material handling.
- Professional communication and strong collaboration skills.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance (or active clearance preferred).
- Active TS or Q Security Clearance.
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment experience.
- Supply chain or logistics certification.
- Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Export control experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, or working at a computer.
- Ability to work in or near industrial environments.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a DOE/NRC Q-Clearance are required.
