A large family‑owned General Contractor, with a history that spans back to the 1950’s, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support an active Cath Lab vertical expansion project in Wilmington, NC. The company provides full construction services, including general contracting, construction management, project management & design‑build, overseeing projects from initial planning through completion.
Healthcare construction is a major focus, accounting for 50‑60% of revenue with many projects across the Carolinas & Georgia, including three brand new ground‑up hospital builds scheduled to start in Q2–Q3. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Superintendent with daily on‑site operations
- Assist with subcontractor coordination and site logistics
- Help monitor schedule, safety, and quality control
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, and progress tracking
- Provide consistent on‑site support to keep the project moving efficiently
This is a 12‑month build starting in February; my client is looking to interview and hire ASAP.
