Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Preconstruction Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 5 years in commercial construction estimating. This role involves estimating site work and building costs, project planning, scheduling, and preconstruction management, ensuring high-quality outcomes, timely project execution, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating and Budgeting: Prepare precise and detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Preconstruction Planning: Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.
• Bid Management: Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project scope.
• Client Interaction: Work with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other project-related documents.

  Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth project transitions from preconstruction to execution.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial construction estimating and preconstruction management.
• Skills: Proficient in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as LEED, PMP, or similar are advantageous.
