Civil Project Engineer; s

Responsibilities

• Successfully collaborate with our talented, in-house teams of surveyors, designers, landscape architects, and fellow civil engineers to develop, design, and create visionary master plans.
• Produce full construction documents for various land development projects in and around eastern NC/SC.
• Develop plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater detention/retention, storm drainage, water and sewer plan and profiles, off-site roadway improvements, pump station and force main designs.
• Prepare and represent all associated design calculations and reports for permitting through the various agencies.
• Execute appropriate phases of project delivery with accurate intent and technical quality.
• Prepare presentation materials for meetings; attend and support meetings.
• Strategically engage with different municipal entities, following their zoning regulations, and adhering to their prerequisites for project submissions.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision and translate them into compelling and functional projects.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and expertise.

• FE Certificate or PE license strongly appreciated.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Civil 3D, Carlson, Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrographs, Water Cad, AutoTURN, and Microsoft Office products are preferred.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to professionally convey design concepts to clients and project teams.
• Proficiency in collaborating with clients and colleagues across all organizational levels.
• Effective time management abilities to assist the team in meeting tight deadlines with professional decorum.
• Positive willingness, from experience, for daily presence in a professional engineering office environment.
