Position Summary
The Finance Lead for Costco is responsible for providing end-to-end financial oversight on Citi’s Costco credit card portfolio in coordination with the broader Finance & Product Management team. The role manages relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The overall objective is to apply analytical thinking and knowledge to create operating plans, evaluate growth strategies, and analyze reports that support the Costco credit card portfolio.
* Please note, this role must report on site three times per week in Wilmington, DE. This job cannot be done remotely or from another Citi location.*
- Drive forward-looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, financial outlooks, and review results.
- Perform analysis and deliver presentations related to the financial performance of Citi and its competitors.
- Generate analytics for month/quarter end flash results, related highlights, and executive management reports; lead quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reports.
- Prepare and present to management and stakeholders using metrics to evaluate and drive business decisions.
- Advise internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm/business unit strategy.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and adhering to bank policy.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Experience with in financial services or related industry.
- Previous credit cards experience.
- Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of additional systems including Oracle, Essbase, and SAP.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
