I AM SALON INC in Wilmington, NC is looking for an Experienced Salon Coordinator to join our dynamic team! This is your opportunity to be the heartbeat of a thriving salon, where your organizational skills and passion for the beauty industry come together to create an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:- Manage front desk operations including greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments
- Coordinate stylist bookings and optimize the salon's appointment calendar for maximum efficiency
- Handle client check-in and check-out, including processing payments and managing POS transactions
- Maintain accurate client records and manage salon software/booking systems
- Support retail sales by recommending professional hair care products to clients
- Assist with inventory management and product restocking
- Ensure the salon environment remains clean, welcoming, and professional at all times
- Prior experience in a salon coordinator, receptionist, or front desk role — preferably in the beauty industry
- Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional demeanor
- Proficiency with salon booking software and point-of-sale systems
- Excellent multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for the beauty and salon industry with a polished, professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
