CT Technologist

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (NHRMC Only)

Join Novant Health as a part‑time CT Technologist and work directly with radiologists to prepare patients and operate CT equipment for high‑quality diagnostic scans.

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly.
• Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Adapt procedures to meet age‑specific needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care.
• Support a safe, patient‑centered environment in line with “First Do No Harm” principles.

• Required:
  
  High School Diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited school of radiology.
• Preferred:
  Associate Degree.
• Inpatient requirement:
  Graduation from a JCERT‑accredited school of radiology and/or military health system program.
• Certification Path:
  If not CT‑registered, complete ARRT post‑primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles).

• Preferred:
  One year of experience in CT scanning.

• Required:
  
  ARRT, CT Registry (if outpatient – IDTF or HOPD).
• Preferred: CT Registry (if inpatient).

• Strong analytical ability and basic computer skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt procedures to meet patient‑specific needs.
