Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join Main Street Family Care’s urgent care team in Wilmington, NC. The position is full‑time and offers a fast‑paced, supportive environment for early‑career PAs, including new graduates.

• Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory illnesses.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Conduct suturing, splinting, general orthopedic evaluation, and management.
• Interpret and review radiographs (with radiologist over‑read).
• Provide general dermatology, eye care, and general EKG interpretation.
• Apply emergency management skills.
• Offer general gynecology expertise and treat children of all ages.
• Provide occupational medicine and telemedicine services.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Rotating schedule with every other weekend (example: Week 1 ON Monday–Sunday; Week 2 OFF Monday–Sunday).

• Physician Assistant board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required; new graduate friendly.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.
