Information Technology Manager

• Lead day‑to‑day IT operations for networks, servers, endpoints, and communications systems
• Maintain secure system configurations, patching, and performance monitoring
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
• Ensure all software and systems are properly licensed, supported, and compliant

• Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with NIST SP 800‑53, CNSSI 1253, 32 CFR 117, and other applicable requirements
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and risk registers
• Support regulatory inspections and audits under DOE, NRC, and/or DoD oversight
• Document security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

• Recommend improvements to IT governance, procurement, and configuration management processes
• Monitor system health, risk posture, and compliance status, escalating issues as appropriate
• Ensure configuration changes and policy updates are reviewed and coordinated with the Information Security Programs Manager (ISPM)

• Serve as the primary technical and operational point of contact for IT systems
• Maintain effective, timely communication with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
• Build strong partnerships across technical, security, and leadership teams

• U.S. Citizenship (required)
• Active DOE/NRC Q‑Clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, or a security‑related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting physical and virtual servers, SANs, and workstations
• 5+ years of experience administering IT programs supporting regulatory inspections and compliance documentation
• Strong working knowledge of NIST 800‑series standards (800‑53, 800‑82, 800‑171) and CNSSI 1253
• Basic information security certification (e.g., Security+)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Advanced degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or Security‑related field
• Advanced security certifications (CISSP, CISM, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, etc.)
• Experience working under 10 CFR 95 and NRC classified matter protection programs
• Background supporting NRC‑regulated or DOE‑classified environments

This role requires the ability to maintain an active DOE or NRC Q‑Clearance and ongoing eligibility for access to controlled and classified facilities.
