We are a well-established North Carolina family law firm seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of family law experience to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution
• Advise and advocate for clients facing divorce, custody, support, and related matters
• Draft pleadings, handle discovery, and appear in court
• Work closely with a supportive team that values open communication and professional excellence
• Help clients navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity and compassion

• A minimum of 3 years of family law experience in North Carolina
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques
• Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
• Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses

• Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration
