We are seeking attorneys to join our Litigation team in Wilmington. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training/integration with the team.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of practice experience and are licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities.

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Required

• Juris Doctorate
• Bar admission in North Carolina

• 3 years of prior insurance defense experience
