Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: February 11, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week ), every third weekend required, call coverage 2 days per week and every third weekend

• Circulating role in a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room with advanced procedural experience including ECMO and Impella support
• Work with diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aortic dissections, laser lead extractions, and thoracic procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio with approximately 6 cases per day across 3 operating rooms
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of orientation provided based on experience level
• Contract flexibility available with extensions through February 2027
• Scrubs provided; float opportunities to main OR as needed based on volume

• Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• ECMO and Impella experience required
• Circulating experience mandatory (scrubbing not required)
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared for emergency response protocols including potential storm team or disaster response assignments. Time off requests must be submitted and approved prior to contract signing. Floating to the main OR may be required based on departmental needs.
