Call Center Peer Support Coordinator

We are a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services and are seeking a motivated and passionate Call Center Peer Support Coordinator to join our team. The role involves providing oversight, guidance, and direction to peer support staff responding to incoming calls, overseeing daily call center operations, staffing cases, and coordinating care for new or potential clients enrolling in services.

This position requires the ability to work autonomously while receiving supervision to ensure best practices and client care. A valid driver’s license and/or government-issued  required, and reliable transportation is needed.

• Provide oversight, guidance, and direction to call center peer support staff responding to incoming calls.
• Oversee daily operations of the call center and respond to incoming calls.
• Staff cases and assist in coordination of care for new or potential clients enrolling in services at Coastal Horizons.
• Work autonomously while maintaining appropriate supervision to ensure best practices and client care.
• Maintain documentation accurately, complete, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
• Provide ongoing clinical support and guidance to call center peer support staff.
• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings for continuous learning and professional development.
• Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies while fostering a positive and supportive environment for clients.

• HS Diploma or higher, with knowledge of wellness and recovery-based concepts.
• Ability to complete a peer support training program to gain certified peer support specialist certification.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Peer Support experience in workforce and NC Peer Support Certificate.
