Position: ATSG RECRUITER

Overview

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help support full life cycle recruiting efforts for ATSG and its subsidiaries. This is an excellent opportunity to join an amazing team in an exciting industry. Duties will include recruiting functions such as monitoring trending job boards and social media, accurately sourcing qualified candidates, traveling to job fairs, recruiting events, and developing creative recruiting strategies, including cold calling, to find & interact with the talent pool.

This position will communicate ATSG values to prospective candidates & current employees, will support new hire information processing & onboarding presentations and will collaborate with management to provide customer service and problem-solving support.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor trending job boards and social media to support recruiting efforts
  • Accurately source qualified candidates
  • Travel to job fairs and recruiting events
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies, including cold calling, to engage with the talent pool
  • Communicate ATSG values to prospective candidates and current employees
  • Support new hire information processing and onboarding presentations
  • Collaborate with management to provide customer service and problem-solving support
Required Skills
  • Candidates must be able to work on site daily
  • Bachelor's degree and/or applicable combination of education and/or experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to initiate conversation with candidates and sell the value proposition of ATSG with a "quick on your feet" mentality
  • Planning and organizational skills to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload in a multi-project setting
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the aviation industry, preferably in recruiting
  • Experience using Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Career Boards, etc. for applicant recruiting
  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System, specifically UKG
Education
  • High School (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
  • Driver's License (required)
