Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting pay will be between $12.50-$14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Weekly hours for this position are between 10-12 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products. Use technology for communication, reporting time, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    Work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department Resets:
    Participate in installations, builds, relocations of Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments. May involve evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision:
    Support other team members in the Hallmark field organization network as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and sense of urgency. Work on the selling floor and back stockrooms; push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Can read, write, and understand English.
  • Can lift, pull, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents.
  • Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
  • Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
