Summary/Objective

The Retail Store Associate is passionate about animals and their health. These individuals find motivation in greeting customers, identifying their needs, educating them on our products, and recommending suitable products to improve the health of their animals.

• Greet and engage customers, identify their needs, educate them on our product offerings, and recommend suitable products to improve the health of their animals.
• Operate a computer, cash register and accurately and efficiently complete customer transactions.
• Accurately balance cash drawers.
• Stock and organize merchandise/front shelves.
• Monitor “dated” products and rotate as needed.
• Tag products and shelves as needed with labels and pricing.
• Keep the store clean and tidy.
• Participate in physical inventory.
• Communicate courteously and effectively with internal and external customers.
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.

• Knowledge of animals, animal care, animal health, livestock preferred.
