Are you an experienced Underwriter within bridging or short-term property finance? Looking to join a fast-paced, growing lender where your decisions genuinely shape the business?

We’re expanding our team and are looking for a confident, solutions-focused Underwriter who can balance commercial thinking with strong risk awareness.

• Assess and underwrite bridging loan applications across residential, semi-commercial and commercial properties.
• Make clear, confident decisions in line with funding and risk appetite.
• Communicate decisions effectively to brokers, clients and internal teams.
• Work creatively to structure deals that work for both the client and the business.
• Manage your own pipeline while supporting team delivery.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and external partners.

• Previous underwriting experience within short-term/bridging finance (essential).
• Strong understanding of property, valuations, risk and deal structure.
• Confident communicator who can handle challenging conversations when needed.
• A problem solver who enjoys the quirk and complexity of deals.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays calm under pressure.
