- To conduct MOT inspections and issue MOT documentation in line with DVSA guidelines
- To ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with DVSA and company requirements.
- To repair and report any anomalies on vehicles.
- MOT Class 4 Tester credentials.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent C&G or BTEC qualification).
- Comprehensive technical knowledge, including a thorough understanding of the MOT Testing Guide and all relevant Special Notices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
- Ability to work within given timescales and manage a varied workload.
- Strong administrative and presentation skills.
- Willingness to learn, develop technical knowledge and stay up to date with complex technical and product information.
- Ability to deal confidently and professionally with customers when required.
- Full valid UK driving licence
