Head of portfolio management – asset based lending

Our Client, a market leading provider of Asset Based Lending solutions, requires a high calibre commercial lending professional to lead their National Client Portfolio team.

Reporting to the company’s head office in the South East, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of Senior Relationship Managers and Portfolio Directors. You will oversee overall responsibility for a growing number of Asset Based Lending relationships throughout the UK. Typical facility sizes will range between £2 Million and £20 Million.

The successful candidate will ensure effective management of all operational procedures including business strategy, risk management, achieving all key performance indicators and targets and therefore making a valuable contribution to company profitability, ensuring maximum income generation and minimizing losses. You will also be involved in making strategic operational decisions to drive the business forwards and communicate policy across all levels of the business.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record in operational management and control with a background in the Receivables and/or Asset Based Lending industries.
