Computer Science Teacher - Wilmslow Area - January Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Academics are proud to be in partnership with a Secondary School in the Wilmslow area to recruit a Computer Science Teacher. This is a full-time role delivering engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 with a January 2026 start through to July 2026. School open to consider an earlier start date for the right candidate.

The Role:

Teach Computer Science across KS4 and KS5, inspiring students to develop strong digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons that encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
Support students in understanding key concepts (e.g., programming, algorithms, data representation, and networks).
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support exam preparation.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
Experience teaching Computer Science at KS4 and KS5.
Excellent subject knowledge and ability to deliver complex content in an accessible way.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
